    @hoffutt as you said, Bluetooth and BLE are quite different. Bluetooth is suited for audio streaming with preallocated channel and guaranteed (sort of) delay. BLE is the one for IoT, low power and everything.

    So this is Bluetooth or BLE we are talking about that is improved in Bluetooth 5? Note Bluetooth and BLE are pretty much independent of each other and BLE is a good fit for IoT and not Bluetooth.
