It is tedious and error prone to manually generate schematic symbol for the components you use. Imagine the same thing has to be done in other companies. Is there an online open source component library? The closet one I find is Scheme-it from Digikey:

Any feedback on this tool. You can use digikey library but looks you can only download the schematic as an image file which is not good.

    Any other options?

  • If you get a subscription to Altium, you can get access to the Altium vault which gives you access to a schematic and PCB library of thousands of parts. It’s not open source, but it’s the most complete library I’ve used.
