I am working on IoT design and need a low power MCU. Any suggestion?

  • ST offers ARM cm4 based STM32l4 MCU with good power numbers:

    stm32l4_pwr

TI also offers MSP430 low power MCUs. For example, MSP430F20xx 16bit RISC processor is 220uA at active mode (1MHz, 2.2v), 0.5uA in standby mode, and 0.1uA in off mode but with RAM retention. Don’t know how they achieve it with only 0.1uA to retain RAM.
