I’d like to try Jon Gao’s Ethernet mac design from opencores, http://opencores.org/project,ethernet_tri_mode. But the default way to run sim is to use cadence nc-sim. I don’t have nc-sim installed but instead I can run Vivardo (preferred way) or Modelsim (which actually comes from Microsemi installation). I find this project script first calls sim.nc which compiles code from vlog.list:

    ncvlog -f vlog.list -logfile ../log/ncvlog.log

So I added all design and bench files in vlog.list to Vivardo project. I can actually run simulation but waveform shows no signal toggling no matter how long I run sim.

    Any idea? Thanks.
