The OpenACC Application Programming Interface defines a collection of compiler directives to annotate loops and regions of code in standard C, C++ and Fortran to be offloaded from the host CPU to an attached heterogeneous accelerator device for parallelized execution. Support for OpenACC 2.0 will be available in Mentor Graphics’ Sourcery CodeBench (OpenACC/PTX) Lite and in the upcoming release of GCC 6. This webinar will review the basics of OpenACC and demonstrate the use of OpenACC 2.0 with GCC for NVIDIA GPUs.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • Basic overview of OpenACC API
  • Example on how to add OpenACC directives to parallelizable programs
  • How to use OpenACC in GCC to enable offloading to NVIDIA GPUs

January 20, 2016 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM US/Pacific
